Shawn-Paul Harrison serves as the Physician and Donation Specialist at the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA), where he has devoted more than two decades of his career. Throughout his tenure, he has gained extensive expertise in various domains, including hospital development, family advocacy, and diverse managerial and leadership roles. As a proud member of the American Association of Physician Liaisons, Shawn-Paul has been steadfastly focused on nurturing and fortifying relationships with physicians in recent years. Notably, he spearheaded the establishment of the Physician Engagement Committee. This committee comprises physicians across the state who are dedicated to implementing optimal practices and enhancing existing donation processes. Above all, Shawn-Paul's unwavering passion lies in assisting physicians during times of bereavement to effectively support families and facilitate the remarkable Gift of Life.
