David Bagwell
David Ray Bagwell left us very unexpectedly to be with Jesus on December 23, 2025. We miss his "big" personality which lit up every family gathering.
He was a talented musician, focused gamer, skilled creator of hand-made leather and other materials goods, proficient cook, amazing artist and sometimes goofy guy. He spoke with fondness about his service in the US Navy and saw the world. He was a proud veteran and we are so grateful for his service. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas but lived in Louisiana since 2018 and loved Cajun culture.
He married Melissa Gerald Bagwell on July 26, 2008. They shared many dreams, adventures, hearty laughs, tears, hard times and love in those 17 1/2 years married and 18 1/2 years together.
Life won't ever be the same for us-his loving family, friends and co-workers. However, the wonderful blessing through this tragedy is that David was able to help others through his passing. He is a HERO!
