Levi Dane was born February 9, 1990. He was a blonde hair blue-eyed sweet and loving child his whole life. Levi had a deep love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4-wheel riding, and motor cycle riding were at the top of his list. He was very active in baseball from the age of 4 all through his years of elementary, and played until he was a senior.

His passion was to play ball and he gave it his all. He had "heart". After graduating, Levi attended a technical college and worked a daily job at the same time.

Levi had goals & dreams, but little did he know his life would be cut short of those dreams. Levi became a hero on October 29, 2008 at the young age of 18. He was in a motor vehicle accident only 3 miles from our home. He was on life support due to severe brain trauma for about 24 hours. His brain eventually quit working and the process began. I remember them telling me that a 17 year old boy from Texas was waiting on Levi's heart. Within 10 months of Levi's passing, my daughters & I met "Anthony" the boy from Texas. Anthony has dedicated a lot of his time in ensuring the public knows the importance of organ donation. Levi's dream to continue his education is going to be fulfilled by Anthony. Anthony is now working and will begin college next semester to become a child physical therapist to help others like him who suffered daily due to health problems. Levi was proud to be an organ donor. His first driver's license picture has his renowned "cheesey" smile, big blue eyes and that big red donor heart on it.

Levi, we miss you terribly and we were so proud of you. We are proud of the life you have given to others less fortunate. You have touched the lives of so many people in such a very short life span and it's ironic that you continue to touch people's lives now that you are a heavenly angel. We miss you... our "hero".

Love,
Delaine Theriot, mother
