Robert Avery Spradling
My son Robert Avery Spradling loved life and he loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, horses and anything to do with outdoors. He laid fences in the Wichita Mountains on a wildlife refuge and loved the mountains, buffalo and animals. He had COPD lung disease and tried his best to “hang on” because his only child, who had told him he was going to be a grandfather for the first time. He was so very proud and wanted to be there for the birth of his first grandchild. It is going to be a girl and Christmas baby. This is so appropriate because Christmas was Robert Avery’s favorite holiday. He knew the baby was going to have his second name (middle name). Here name will be Syler Avery. We know he is “watching” and will be proud.
When you look at a sunset or see a deer walking through the forest or horses running through open fields on a crisp winter morning, I’ll be there. Be at one with nature. Take the time to explore and you will be amazed at what you will find. I was. Wade in the ocean. Watch the eagles fly. Go fishing with family and friends. Camp out on starlit nights and be in awe of all this wonder, and that’s where you will find me…Still Loving, Feeling, Laughing, Sharing, Caring, And touching your lives as You All touched mine…I will only be there in a different way…And when you hear a Baby’s cry or laughter for the first time, Remember Me, For I’ll be there Too.
LOVE, Son, Brother, & Father
