Quilt Row 1 Square 2-Paula Fealko

Paula Gorham Fealko

My mother, Paula, was a lover of nature, especially animals. For as long as we can remember, we always had dogs, cats, horses as a child, turtles, and even snakes. During our four years living in Alaska (Military Family) she began collecting Black Bears. She loved them, thought they were such a beautiful animal. She was very creative with crochet. All her grandbabies have numerous outfits, blankets, etc…that “Maw Maw” made for them. We always loved receiving new scarves, hats, blankets, that she would make for us as well.

Paula left behind 4 daughters and 3 granddaughters, which were the light of her life. Our “Nanny”; Paula’s mother Lorraine, made her quilt square. All of us daughters, including her mother, Lorraine, sister Rhonda, and her brother Mike had to say goodbye way too soon. She was a beautiful person, and we are so proud that she was able to touch and change the lives of others through organ donation.
