We placed a cross at the center of Gregg’s quilt because Jesus was the center of Gregg’s life. The inside of the cross is gold to represent the golden streets he now walks upon. It is outlined in red to represent the blood of Christ which made eternal life possible. The open Bible is a reminder that Gregg read the Word, studied it daily, and taught it each week to his Sunday School students. On July 13, 2005, Gregg heard the Father say to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.” We miss him very much but know we can look forward to a reunion with him one day.
