The Gifted Life Podcast releases its 50th episode

LOPA (Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency) started a podcast about organ, eye and tissue donation almost 2 years ago called The Gifted Life. It is the only podcast solely devoted to donation and transplantation in the nation. LOPA is releasing its 50th episode of The Gifted Life this Friday, 2/17/2017, and it is one of the best yet!

It features Robin Roberts from Good Morning America, and her sister Sally Ann Roberts from WWL-TV in New Orleans. Sally Ann donated bone marrow to Robin in 2012 and both are big advocates for all types of donation. Robin recently interviewed Jarrius Robertson, a New Orleans Saints superfan and social media personality from New Orleans. Jarrius needs a liver transplant and Robin and Sally Ann hope their story will inspire more people to join the registry so Jarrius, and the thousands of others waiting, get their second chance.
