Square 10

BRE’SHAUN DOMINIQUE CHATMON

Bre’shaun was born October 26, 1993.  At the age of 4 she enrolled at Annuciation Catholic School in Pre-K.  She remained at ACS until her untimely death on August 24, 2006 where she died immediately at school of a brain aneurysm.  The school logo is “All for Jesus”, which is featured in the upper left hand corner.  The angel blowing the horn at the right hand corner represents Bre’ in that she was truly an angel to all who knew her.  She played the saxophone in the ACS band.  Bre’ was also a cheerleader.  Bre’ has maintained the Banner/Honor roll each year in school.  She loved school very much, loved to read, and loved learning.  She received certificates in reading and Banner or Honor roll each 9 weeks throughout her school life. The smile featured in her picture shows her each day of her short-lived life.  No one has ever seen her unhappy.  She has never been known to be unkind to anyone.  She loved life and God.  She has touched many lives.  The plaid border represents the school uniform.  This square quilt was designed by Bre’s classmates at ACS who miss and love her dearly.  She is now their guardian angel.  The school also has a wall in memory of Bre’shaun Dominique Chatmon, 7th grade. Annuniciation Catholic School is in Bogalousa, LA.
