Information for Our Hospitals

In addition to providing the clinical expertise related to organ and tissue donation, LOPA serves a key role in educating medical professionals in the hospitals and helping ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. We have staff dedicated to coordinating hospital resources, and we provide a wealth on information related to the donation process.

This hospital-focused section of our website provides a quick comparison of organ donation rates among hospitals with at least one eligible donor in the last 12 months, information regarding Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), assistance in understanding the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation, and other resources.
