Our Heroes

Sometimes life’s journey takes unexpected turns, where a profound tragedy can bring new life, where we have the power to make something positive come from an otherwise terrible situation. That is the gift of organ and tissue donation.

In this section, you will read stories of just of a few of our heroes, see some of our donor memorial quilts, and get some information on dealing with grief and other matters.

One of the stories you will read was the inspiration for singer-songwriter DC Sills' song "Heaven Knows", which you will find on her CD Better When I'm Loved.
