Many times, donor families choose to write to their loved one’s recipients. Most donor families find communicating to be helpful in the healing process. We understand how difficult it may be for you to write to the recipients, and we thank you for your thoughtfulness. Most recipients are delighted to share information about themselves and may respond immediately, while others may find it difficult to respond to your gesture at this time.
LOPA supports written communication between donor families and recipients. All correspondence is confidential, and the donor families and recipients remain anonymous, until such time each of you chooses to furnish this information.
